AFL draft updates: Twin peaks – Jack Whitlock finds a home at Port after anxious wait

So one of the twins is going to Port Adelaide. Jack Whitlock, the twin of Matt Whitlock (picked by the Roos on Wednesday), finds an AFL home with a pick in the 30s.

There are huge signs of relief. Jack Whitlock’s friends jump all over him. The new Port player breathes a sigh of relief.

Jack Whitlock admits it’s been a nervous time for him as he thought he might be a first-round pick. Brother Matt Whitlock joins him on the broadcast … he’s wearing a shirt and tie for his school graduation tonight!

“I was a bit upset. I thought I was a good chance to go in round one but super happy for Matt, North is a great club,” Jack Whitlock told Fox Footy.

“Graduation is tonight so I thought I better show up for five minutes on his big night.”
