Australian Open 2025 LIVE updates: Sabalenka beats Badosa in battle of the besties; Keys takes on Swiatek

Sabalenka is within reach of a third-straight Australian Open title and she was immediately excited when asked about it post match.
“You’re saying it and I have goosebumps,” Sabalenka told Nine’s Jelena Dokic.
“Honestly, I don’t know. I’m so proud of myself. I’m proud of my team they’re able to put ourselves in such a situation.
“It’s privilege, you know. If I’m able to put my name into history, it will mean a lot. It will mean the world to me. It’s been a dream. I mean couldn’t even dream about that to be honest.
“First I was dreaming to win at least one grand slam. Now, I have this opportunity. It’s incredible. I’m going to go out and leave everything I have, in the finals. And thank you guys for the atmosphere. You are amazing. I really love playing in front of you.”
Sabalenka also added she was aware past champions like Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Margaret Court were in the stands tonight but she tried not to notice as she didn’t want to get too nervous or distracted.
