Boxing Day tragedy as woman stabbed to death at Langwarrin

A woman has died from stab wounds at a home in Melbourne’s south-east early on Boxing Day.

Emergency services were called to the Wood Duck Court address in Langwarrin about 6.30am, but the woman could not be saved. She has yet to be formally identified.

A 63-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was arrested at the scene and homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
